How does an interested University of Guelph student get their foot in the door within an advertising agency? The U of G Marketing Society is proud to present; “ An Introduction to the Advertising Industry”.

Speaker Ryan Timms will be presenting his past experiences, tips, and strategies while working at one of the leading advertising agencies in Canada: MacLaren McCann.

About the Speaker:

Ryan Timms – VP, Group Account Director, MacLaren McCann

With 10 years of agency experience under his belt, Ryan Timms has honed his craft working on large, multinational brands as well as with smaller, more entrepreneurial-driven clients. He spent 4 years on the Volkswagen Canada account delivering best-in-class communications for both the Volkswagen brand and its dealer network. Since joining MacLaren McCann in 2005, Ryan has brought his passion for great creative and insightful strategy to Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson and Cadbury Chocolate. Ryan currently manages the MasterCard Canada, Staples, Bayer CropScience and Toronto-Area GM Dealers accounts.
